Darrio Philips guides young local residents of Kingswood Park through cutting edge "krump" moves at Kingswood Park Public School, January 2008. In high demand, the workshop series was booked out with a waiting list of 20 people plus from surrounding areas wanting to participate. The workshops have generated an extremely positive repsonse building social identity, cohesion and pride in Kingswood Park. Previous Artist David Capra working with the community in Kingswood Park  "dreaming up the park" introduces participants to creative ways to express what they would like to see in their park using plasticine, pipecleaners, paper, paddlepop sticks, storyboards, story cubes and a range of other creative media.
