Campbelltown Arts Centre 2008 Aboriginal Arts Development Program
Campbelltown City Council (2 other projects)
Campbelltown Arts Centre produced a multidisciplinary Urban Aboriginal Arts Development Program in 2008. Projects included the Campbelltown Intergenerational Aboriginal Project in partnership with DADHC. This project also acted as a source of rich material for the Foot to Earth dance development project that included workshops constructed from stories selected from the publication in partnership with NAISDA. The 2008 Program featured two visual arts exhibitions; More than My Skin and Ngadhu, Ngulili, Ngeaninyagu - A Personal History of Aboriginal Art in the Premier State. Accompanying the latter was the second NSW Aboriginal Visual Arts Conference Black2BLAK2. This conference included high profile speakers such as Gary Foley. Campbelltown Arts Centre also produced the annual Parliament of NSW Indigenous Art Prize and was a partner with MGNSW in the tour of the Prize throughout regional NSW.
