41 Degrees

Griffith City Council (1 other project)

The photo was taken at one of CRYT's most popular events 'YAK (Youth Arts Kulture) Stage' in 2006. YAK stage is the youth space at Griffith's festival La Festa. YAK Stage allows Griffith's young performers to show off their talents and also provides well known artists.

The festival is held annually on Easter Saturday in the city's picturesque main street, Banna Avenue.

This festival is a real celebration of everything the city has to offer, its colourful and dynamic multicultural community and its premium wine and food industry.

41 Degrees is a professional glossy book that showcases young CRYTters (Creative Riverina Youth Team members), youth culture and arts practice in Regional NSW.

41 Degreesfeatures the works of 35 young artists from diverse creative genres as well as 6 CRYT projects. It highlights the achievements, talents and skills of young people in CRYT over the past three years.

41 Degrees rewards and values the contributors as well as the many volunteering CRYTers who have given so much of their time, skills and energy in developing and delivering projects for young people in Griffith.

Artists featured in 41 Degrees include young people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. 41 Degrees is a celebration of our diversity and talents…its shows who we are and how we do things in Griffith, an isolated regional centre!
