Who loves "Our Street"? Despite summer storms, residents came together to host the launch of "Our Street".

The 'Our Street' program offers an easy process for Newcastle residents to organise their own local neighbourhood street party in a safe and well managed way.

A key Council strategy in the Community Plan and the Cultural Framework is a "street parties program" to assist people to meet their neighbours and build a sense of community. Through this program, it is hoped social isolation will be reduced which will lead to better connected and healthier communities.
