Bloomin' Arts is an art exhibition by people with ABILITY

The seed was planted in 2006 between Aftercare and Leichhardt Council for an exhibition to provide an opportunity for people with a disability to promote and celebrate thier abilities in the art arena and be acknowledged by their family, friends, peers and the general public.

In 2007, the interested in Bloomin' Arts doubled with 5 local Inner West disability organisations joining and a local school hall was needed to hold the exhibition.

Last year in 2008 Bloomin' Arts grew even bigger then expected and flourished with excitment and colour. A partnership with Boomalli Aboriginal Artist Gallery at Leichhardt offered their gallery space and expertise in the art arena which gave Bloomin' Arts a special space in local events.

Bloomin' Arts ia a unique exhibition featuring many types of art works by people who also happen to have a disability.
