Chinese New Year celebrations in Randwick

Randwick City Council has prepared and adopted its inaugural Cultural Plan - A Cultural Randwick City. The Plan was prepared to provide Council with a strategic framework for guiding our City’s cultural activities over a ten year period. The Plan contains a range of cultural actions that aim to enrich our residents' lives including festivals and events, providing community grants, conserving heritage items, public domain improvements and facilitating public art.

Some of the key actions identified within the Plan include:

- Develop a strategic partnerships with major cultural institutions in the area to facilitate greater sharing of knowledge and facilities
- Develop a Public Art Policy and Master plan to guide enhancement of our City’s public domain
